On this trip, you will embark on a Kigali city tour, a night fishing experience at lake Kivu, go on the Kamiranzovu trail, interact with locals on a tea plantation tour and walk on the Nyungwe Canopy walkway. This is a private tour. You will be using a private safari Jeep.

Day 1 : Arrival at the Kigali International Airport and Transfer to the Hotel.

Up on arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative. Exchange some money in local currency then drive to your hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy hotel amenities. Dinner and rest.

Day 2 : Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Kibuye for the Night Fishing Experience

Begin your day with a poignant visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the victims of the 1994 genocide Against the Tutsi. Then, immerse yourself in Rwanda’s burgeoning art scene with a visit to the Inema Arts Centre, where you’ll encounter vibrant works by local artists. In the afternoon, venture into the vibrant Nyamirambo neighborhood to visit the Nyamirambo Women’s Centre, where you’ll learn about the empowerment initiatives empowering women through crafts and culinary skills before starting a 3.5hrs journey to Kibuye. As the sun sets, transition into an exciting 2 hours Night Fishing expedition, where you can experience the thrill of catching fish under the starlit sky. Check in to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 : Transfer to Nyungwe National Park for the Kamiranzovu Waterfall Trail Adventure + Tea Experience

After your early breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Begin with a guided 6 km hike along the picturesque Kamiranzovu Trail, leading to the breathtaking Kamiranzovu Waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon you will visit a nearby tea plantation to experience the entire tea production process, from farm to cup. Engage in tea plucking alongside local farmers, learn about the meticulous steps involved in creating high-quality tea, and enjoy heart-warming interactions with the community. Conclude your adventure with a delightful tea tasting session, savoring the delicate flavors of freshly brewed Rwandan tea. This tour offers a unique blend of nature, culture, and sensory delight, making it perfect for nature enthusiasts, tea lovers, and cultural explorers alike.

Day 4 : Canopy walk Adventure with a transfer back to Kigali & King's Palace Museum Visit.

After a filling breakfast, you will check out and proceed with the canopy walk adventure for a thrilling experience of a suspended bridge covering 160 m through the lush montane rainforest and 70 m high from the forest floor. This is one extraordinary activity that offers a spectacular view of the ancient forest. Thereafter, you will transfer back to Kigali with a stopover at Nyanza King’s Palace Museum on the way for a cultural experience. Then, you’ll proceed with your drive to Kigali. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel/ residence in Kigali or airport depending on your flight details. End. See you on your next visit.
