The inspiration for nature and wildlife conservation Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park is considered as one of the best places for gorillas trekking the park is not only heaven to mountain gorillas but also golden monkeys, buffaloes and various birds’ species.
Akagera comprises savanna, woodland, wetland and more lakes. It is home to Africa’s Big Five, different antelope species and more than 500 bird’s species.
Rwanda’s fourth National Park, Gishwati Mukura is made up of two separate forests – the larger Gishwati and small Mukura. It is home to chimpanzees, golden, blue and L’Hoest’s monkeys as well as a host of birds and smaller animals.
